WebBirmingham Children’s Hospital has its own Scout and Guide Group (Onaway)made up of dedicated leaders from local community Scout and Guide Groups. These volunteers visit patients and families on the wards on Thursday evenings to offer themed creative activities and compassionate support to patients, siblings and families. WebThe service aims to provide excellent medical care to children across the area and is the largest paediatric department in the West Midlands. The main wards are situated at Sandwell Hospital, but we also have services at City Hospital, including the Children’s Emergency Care Unit (CECU) and outpatient clinics in the Birmingham Treatment Centre.
