Take your episodic memories out the context, including the time and place where these events occurred, and you’re left with many pieces of semantic memory. WebEpisodic memory is autobiographical and more personal and, therefore differs from one individual to another because their experiences are different. However, the semantic memory system is such that it has to make use of language or manipulate words on the basis of accepted rules.
