The two revolvers I'm referring to have been mentioned in this thread by others. Namely, a Charter Arms 44 Bulldog Target and a Ruger GP100 44 Special. The GP100 is being customized as we speak.

I don't know why Ruger stopped the production on the 3 inch stainless version. Put the Compact Lett grip on it and the size was perfect. I bought mine right after they were introduced.

The two cracked forcing cones were from using the Keith load, and Skeeter load. Those loads are above 15000 psi. The forcing cones are pretty thin for hot rodding it. I have to admit, they are a great looking gun. A lot of the basic design of the GP100 is similiar to the Security Six. Easily to take a part. Strong and durable. The Security Six is lighter for carry.
