WebPovratni grkljanski živac (lat. nervus laryngeus recurrens) je osoben po različitom početku, putu i odnosima na lijevoj i desnoj strani. Inervira glatku muskulaturu i sluzokožu gornjeg dijela dušnika i jednjaka, kao i mišić donji konstriktor ždrijela i veći dio mišića grkljana. Webnervus laryngeus recurrens. nervus laryngeus recurrens nervus recurrens – lat. větev n. vagus, odstupuje v místě přechodu vagu přes velké tepny, vpravo pod a. subclavia, vlevo pod aortálním obloukem. Vrací se vzhůru mezi průdušnicí a jícnem k laryngu. Vydává větévky k průdušnici, jícnu, hrtanu n. laryngeus inferior.
